Pulau Seribu memory
This is an old one I rediscovered—a montage (non-digital) of cut-up bits of watercolour paintings—made when I was still living in Jakarta.
It was part of a set of illustrations for a World Wildlife Fund book, but was never actually used in the end.

This issue is themed ‘handmade’, and the idea was to create illustrations which depicted the two cars as if captured in a sketchbook. Everything was indeed handmade but some extra splashes and marks, and that fold down the middle of the page in the first one, were added digitally.
